***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

There are a few facebook groups that are solely for trading minifigs :)

I have most of series 10/11/simpsons/movie, missing the odd few but got 2 last week for £5 posted...which when they are £2.50 in the shops, is great as i can just chose the ones i want :)

I think the best tactic is to buy a box which gives you I think 2 or 3 complete sets plus extras, that way you get one to open, one to store and the rest to give away or sell on.

Oh man this could get expensive. I spent over 2k since I started collecting in Feb and promised myself I wouldn't buy anymore big ones this year... I guess I didn't say anything about lots of little ones :D

Money aside, where on earth do you guys store it all? Boxes too, if you are the kind of person who keeps it. I am not personally, I tend to build it, then bin all the paperwork.

You bin stuff?! haha joke. I buy most things double, build one store the other but I keep all the open boxes and internal packaging etc. I keep some out of the way in my gym room and then I've taken the bigger boxes to my parents house to keep in my old bedroom, although that's a bad idea as they've opened and started building my x-wing haha :)

Haha, yeah, i have no plans to sell them on or take it apart and rebuild it again so I tend to build and bin. I may keep the manual but the box goes in the bin.

Strange, as I keep the box to almost everything else i buy.

I had 2 large pine shelf unit things in the living room which were fully loaded up, had to reorganise and get rid of one when we needed to fit a second sofa in instead so a lot of it is now bagged up and piled under the bottom couple of shelves with only the good stuff on display, shame really as there's still plenty of cool stuff which will probably never see the light of day again now.

Got a huge pile of boxes in the loft too.

I bought a bookcase specifically to put it all on, and its full. I'm tempted to put all the little Daily Mail ones away though.

Time for a bigger house with a "lego room"? :D

Dammit, I should have picked up the spaceship today too! Guess I'll have to make another trip tomorrow haha
