On foot of getting the Super Star Destroyer for my birthday, I've officially become an Lego aficionado I'm limiting myself to select Star Wars sets and one or two of my favourites.

I've managed to pick up the following (new and in mint condition) in the past 2 weeks:

Clone Wars ARC-170

Republic Venator Class Cruiser

R2-D2

Imperial Lambda Class Shuttle

I really got back into Star Wars through the Clone Wars animated series & I love the Clones, particularly Rex, Cody, the 501st & the 212th. I've recently discovered the joys of Bricklink so I picked up a few, with more to follow

Still trying on a daily basis to get a good one for around £70 Running out of days.....

Also tempted by home one and the endor sets that have appeared all of a sudden in excellent condition.

It's mad how lego sets go up in price

My wee lad got the Lego Rescue Helicopter 9396 last christmas - it was £40 in Asda, it's now £129.99 most places!

I'm a collector, so getting a holy grail set for a price I'm willing to pay does make me happy

Besides, it's my xmas present from the missus and there's nothing else I wanted.
