***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Hmm.. just applied for a job at Lego :D but the job has 106 applicants.. similar jobs for the large companies in the world have 33 applicants.

Some how having LEGO on your business card seems to be quite popular!

It'll go up here somewhere, now that I've managed to source a second Expedit..

How do you dust / clean all of that lego?

Looks like you could have tripled your money in 18 months?

Bumping this thread as hopefully I shall be getting the Batman Tumbler for Christmas.

Thankfully I have no interest at all in Star Wars so I should escape from spending too much... Although 42000 (Racer) is tempting.

Read pages 1-40 so far of this thread, will read the rest later to see if anything takes my fancy.

Had already seen the McLaren, but not the Ferrari stuff. I thought their relationship with Shell-related brands ended with the recent petrol station promotion?

Still, if it's available through normal retails channels I'm all over that truck and crew!

It's nothing to do with Shell, these are retail kits.

But the F1 car appears to have Shell branding, unless it's a take on Shell?

I thought the Shell partnership had ended now due to the environmental criticism, if this set is yet to be released I'm just a little surprised that they would carry on with a brand (Ferrari) that still has that association given the fuss it caused.

I suppose it just means they ended their promotional relationship, and still intend to make products that bear the logo albeit as part of another brands sponsorship.

Yeah two the same as well. Damn annoying it's argos and the item is home delivery only. Only want them to mount my sons castles on to make them easier to move after I had a dropping incident with his kings castle :(

You got a Wilko's near you? They do 'own brand' green and gray baseplates for like £3.50.
