Went to Lego store in Brighton today, came out empty handed...booooooooo really wanted the snow speeder, that looks amazing but can't justify it right now. The Saturn rocket is good as well but it's not Star Wars!

I got my Saturn on holiday at Disney in Paris, not only did they have a store there but I got VIP points and even with terrible exchange rate it was cheaper there than in UK!

Slight issue when he charged me 199 euros by mistake but got a refund and 199 VIP points ;)

Its pretty damn big, I may have made a deal to get the Disney castle for my wife tho...

After a break of over 26 years I have started building again... I took the plunge and bought this...

Man its intimidating lol...

I plan on getting the Merc Truck and Saturn V next.

I am planning on buying this once I return from Malaysia in a few days time, and funnily enough the other two models as well. fingers crossed for a 3 for 2 offer from tesco or argos...

I'd almost be tempted to say if someone were to get in/back into Lego then maybe don't go big too quickly. I started off with the USC Falcon and even with the bits pre-sorted it became a bit of a ball ache towards the end if I'm honest.

I have the bucket wheel but not started. Half way through X Wing Red 5.

Thinking of buying some trains - 2 packs of TGV and a Maersk container train.

I can see that would be an issue. I wanted a challenge :). I have done the Dumper Truck, so much fun to build :)

Congratulations on becoming an AWOL again .... !

I've yet to build my bucket wheel excavator, but I can vouch for the Mercedes Benz Arocs truck. Also, have a look at the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the Claas Xerion 5000 tractor models from last year ... both very fun and nice builds.
Want to pick up the Saturn V myself too when I get a chance ( and the UCS Snowspeeder ).

Done 9 bags now of my speeder, some of it is so well designed. Quite possibly my 2nd favourite kit, except the stickers. Not too sure on the gun pods, a bit sloppy but they have tried hard to get them at an angle. Wil have to re-visit my stand, I'm not sure If i made it wrong or it's just terrible.

AWOL? :)

The Porsche is hopefully my Birthday present :).

Lots of Saturn V rockets back in stock in the Glasgow Lego store now if anyone is interested. Assuming it will be the same nationwide.
