It's terrible the stand, I also wondered if I had built it wrong.
But it does hold the snowspeeder at an awesome angle

Some 3 hours alone on building bag 4! There was a slight delay due to one of the parts catching which needed some investigation. All sorted now though! :)
 
Bit of a result, the missus managed to order a Saturn V from John Lewis this week so was able to cancel the Lego shop order which wouldn't have turned up until end of July.
 
1 thing I've noticed is while I'm sitting building these things and losing hours of the day to it I'm forgetting to drink and sometimes not eating until my stomach is grumbling! Not necessarily a bad thing with the food but I'm finding myself so utterly focused on the task at hand it's a bit worrying at times!
 
So excited! I got offered the use of a friends + family discount via a relative of my other half... 50% off... As tempting as it is to re-mortgage my house and get one of everything I'm not allowed to take the **** so thinking of getting the Snowspeeder, Slave I and (after seeing the pics above) Saturn V... I already have the Falcon and Resistance X-wing so building up quite a collection :D
 
So annoyed, I bought the excavator today only from argos only to find that when i checked the bags the motor and power pack were missing so had to return. so will have to attempt to purchase again later in the week.

I found the motor in bag 5 I think it was and the battery box was in a separate white box with the first 3 bags. Some of the bits have been in funny places!
 
yeah i checked all the bags and went online to see where they should be and there was a couple of bags missing. plus the boxes had been resealed. so looks like somone purchased, returned and then argos resold without actually checking the contents
