Tried to buy a jigsaw for my mother-in-law at the weekend and ended up getting a Lego Harry Potter bus (for 8yr+) .

The wife, mother-in-law and I had a surprising amount of fun with it, so considered us hooked. Just need to find something a little more substantial.

Can't help but feel like it would have been better as a creator expert set. Not a great fan of Technic these days.

Presume they have various ones planned in the series and the more modern car designs sit better in technic?

Mustang and DB5 are quite blocky vehicles anyway so fit creator quite well.

I also find technic much more playable with and robust than creator/ideas.

The old challenger is very blocky (DB5 is anything but!) and they do modern cars well in the speed champions range which are just smaller creator type sets. I doubt they'll be many vehicles in this line, they only do a few Technic sets a year of this and they tend to be all different vehicles. They have just launched the top gear car too, can't see more coming out soon.

Love that Charger kit. Nice accuracy to the film version, but also a really cool Charger kit by itself.

I'd be very surprised if that sold out at £180.

The 89' batmobile sold out online in about 15 mins. Granted that included the minifigure scaled version freebie too but......

Stores are closed for the forseeable so even more online demand.

Pulled apart the 42009 crane I had - the car transporter linked is an enthusiast designed alternative - really impressive engineering - must really take some skill to design!
