***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Now I have been looking at the bulldozer and considering buying :D Good kit to build?

I also really really want the 8880 super car. Never got it as a kid and it was one that I really wanted. In the run up to xmas these are fetching a fair amount!

Isn't that the one Phil has three of? Make him an offer :p

The dozer is a good kit, loads of parts, and 4 motors. The whole studless thing seems to have gone out of control though compared 20 years ago when I last messed about with lego. Here is the making of movie.

Currently building 8285-1. Then a couple of 2nd hand ones I picked up, 8448, 8412, 8842.

The 8285-1 tow truck has taken me 4 days so far. Just pottering with it, hour here, hour there.

I was something of a gawd with knex. I used to make the models from the wee pictures you got when you bought a set. The fold out catalogue. I made a crane without ever buying the set :)

I had the Lego Mindstorms set, with the programmable block which you could hook up to touch sensors and motors. I made this awesome 6 legged spider which could crawl around and change direction when it hit something :) Still have the set somewhere but not touched it in years....happy days! :D

just finished this one :D
