I got one from Stratford on Saturday, was there about 9.30, no queues, about 20 Deloreans on the shelf. Used £50 of VIP to make it a more acceptable price for me right now

Anyone else get a reduction in new VIP points when using them as part of the purchase ? I used £100 worth and only got 400 for the Deloren checked back and they didn’t reduce it the last time I used points towards the purchase.

Yeah, not sure how long its been like it but at least the two years or so I have been buying lego. VIP points are only awarded on the actual cash money you spend on products after any VIP discounts have been taken off.

Sounds fair and standard to me. It’s like Papa Johns points. You redeem 25 points for a free large pizza, you don’t get points for spending your points.
Surely supermarket cards like nectar cards are the same too. Points for cash only.

An auction firm called John Pye Auctions has many individual Lego sets up for auction, closes Friday. Lots include technics, batman, star wars, architecture and lots of others.

Had a look at that but just be careful as the prices are plus VAT plus 25% on top of that as a buyers fee. The globe for example is currently up at £75 but with all the fees it goes up to £112.50 and there's still plenty of time left for it to go up again.
