There have been great Optimus prime transformer plans for years that fully articulate and transform. I’m sure I bought the bricks on bricklink for a great version for about £20 quid 5-6 years ago

It’s more than I thought it would be, I guess the licence wasn’t cheap even though it’s certainly a nostalgic IP rather than something with is relevant with todays youth.

I’ve got the non-UCS one and it’s certainly more UCS than that!

yeah we have the £30 set from a few years ago and the UCS doesn't seem like a massive upgrade to warrant the cost.

It's a big big up grade. Just compare the piece count on them both.

This is what I thought.
The tie fighter and snowspeeder ucs (similar cost) are so so much better than this.

For the price.. It's not good enough for me to display

The Optimus Prime price surprises me, I expected it to be that for the brick count and another £20 or so for years licence .
