Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a good third party retailer of lego? Specifically I am after a train engine and the battery back/hub, these two items:

However I have been checking over the last month or so and they are always out of stock. Anyone know a place where I can get them? I would prefer teh official ones is possible*, unless anyone can personally vouch for a third party version.
* Reason being he already has a lego train, with the remote and hub, apparently you can pair up several hubs with one controller, which is what we are after, as he basically has a massive train but the single motor isnt enough, he has 3 "engine" carriages but only one hub/motor, so we could put additional motor's/hubs in the others ones.

And we’re done with the main build (only 2 missing pieces, one of which I am still waiting for). A very clever build, albeit a bit delicate in places, but the legs are solid. Just the ATST and snowspeeder to add.

Cheers, what is this website some kind of p2p trading? Is it ok to order things from other countries?
I think the train motor must be really rare becuase there doesn't appear to be any in this country at all, did they get discontinued or something? The cheapest I can find on ebay for one of those is £50 - considering they are listed on the official lego site for £13 (all be it out of stock) that seems a bit crazy high?
They are on that link you posted for about £13, but from South Africa?
Are there any alternatives do you know?
Here's a couple of pics of some of my lego. I love the space stuff and downstairs I have the shuttle, saturn v and the lunar lander. The spaceman was the latest build and I've also got C-3PO to do. I'm not allowed any more downstairs so anything new will have to fit in my room!

Yep P2P - it's not the easiest to use but set up an account, ads any part(s) to your wishlist and search
You can filter by or to exclude countries or worldwide
I've ordered kilograms of bricks from there from all over the world. The prices are usually fair but P&P may be pricey
Bricklink is actually owned by the Lego Group. They bought it back in 2019. It's a well known site in Lego groups.

Bought and built these two recently:
Noticed we can sell Lego here on ocuk now, tempted to put up my Porsche GT3 RS, UCS Millenium Falcon and perhaps UCS Razor Crest.
While I still love the builds, these are all sets I enjoyed doing, not looking at, anyone else every get that feeling? Also with an impending house buy in the near future, useful money sat in an ISA rather than plastic

When I was looking for a light tan flat 2 x 1 it felt it was a bit small lol.Good luck, that tubs not big enough
I want that but not available and just seen on ebay for £120! Wife would def divorce me if I bought thatCurrently building rivendell.
I'm done with star wars though. Just too much grey.
I've even retired the ucs falcon to the garage. Probably will deconstruct and sell.
