X-Wing Starfighter™ 75355 | Star Wars™ | Buy online at the Official LEGO® Shop GB
Summon your creative Force to build this spectacular Ultimate Collector Series version of an X-Wing Starfighter from the classic Star Wars™ trilogywww.lego.com
Prefer the previous Red 5 Build. But hell, it's Star Wars so I have to buy it.
£209 is a Billy bargain.
Doesn't meet ucs quality for me
That UCS X Wing looks decent enough but again not minifig scale unlike the Razor Quest, AT-AT and Millenium Falcon so not for me. There's still the rumour that the Slave 1 will get the minifig scale UCS treatment this autumn too.
The AT-AT and Millennium Falcons are not minifigure scale, not even close. They'd be way bigger than they are if they were.
Is the Razer Crest minifigure scale? Hard to tell. It was not a small ship and seemed to be a bit of a Tardis.
I have the original UCS slave 1 so I'm not sure I will be interested in the new one if the rumours are true.
I don’t really care about Harry Potter stuff, but I have to say the castle looked awesome when I seen it in the shop and they had the row of shops which looked smart too.Lego is going mad at the moment. I have collected Lego Harry Potter to build with my girls but the number of sets planned for release this year is bonkers and not just small sets the number of expensiive sets is just out of control. Added to which the GWP thresholds feel like they stepped up. I accept that some of them are very cool but buying £150 or £250 of Lego just to get them is not. Yes you can buy them on the secondary market but that's a lot of dosh too.
LEGO Harry Potter Expecto Patronum buildable figure rumoured
Another LEGO buildable figure is rumoured, this time for Harry Potter in the form of a massive Patronus model – potentially the first of its kind.www.brickfanatics.com
The list at the bottom of that page of new Lego HP sets this year!
It's tricky my 9 year old daughter wants Bowser (which I have no issue with) but that's definitely a birthday/Christmas present rather than an impulse buy.I guess that's maybe the difference between LEGO for kids and LEGO for adults. Kids can afford smaller sets to play with from pocket, birthday or Christmas money. They're not splashing out £370 on Diagon Alley which is admittedly very cool. My complaint as a father is the balance is swinging towards the LEGO for adults which is difficult when you have kids that really like LEGO Harry Potter. Harry Potter as a theme is a lot more homgenous than say Star Wars where the three trilogies may have different fan bases so a big release slate makes it harder to "keep up" as it were.
