A worthy bump for those of us in the NE. New lego store opening up in the Metrocentre at the end of November. Took them long enough tbh!
How old are you guys? I'm 22 and decided to get back into Lego recently, but was wondering if Lego is a more acceptable 'toy' to have as an adult.
I grabbed the Lego City Coastguard Patrol set (60014), the Museum Break In set (60008), and the Police Patrol Car (4436).
Also bought a load of custom Lego weapons/armor/helmets to make a SWAT/Tactical team from http://www.little-legends.com/
I'm 42 and collect Starwars Lego, i get some funny looks when i tell people but that changes when they see the sets and they go buy some too!![]()
I am 28, got back into it last November - probably spent ~£2k over the last year or bits... so yea, totally acceptable!

Love it!~£2k is a respectable amount there! Though, now that I've started up again I don't doubt I'm headed the same way

Honestly guys there are so many custom Lego sites out there that are worth checking out if you're into it for individual accessories.
Little Legends as mentioned is great plus http://www.minifigforlife.com/ is also cool
I must admit I quite like getting the minifigs off eBay then suiting and booting them with custom accessories![]()
Kinda want to go to Legoland with a month's wages
Most shops (Tesco/Sainsburys/Toys R Us etc) have the same sets, so it would be nice to see what else you can get at LL.
I recommend getting a VIP Card on Lego.com so you can build up some points, my balance is about £55 at the moment which is pretty cool.
Also: http://brickbadger.com/ is a crawler for Amazon which identifies price drops - can get some great bargains.
imgur album of my collection since last Nov, running out of space in my room XD
