***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

The lego cargo train (7939) finally came up on sale at amazon, managed to grab one before it went out of stock. One to assembly with my daughter and will go with her other train set.
 
Mrs_S bought me the 42000 GP car for my birthday. :D

Made a start on it this afternoon, hopefully I'll get it finished tomorrow.
 
I know this isn't officially Lego but my little one was given a couple of sets of nano blocks for her birthday a while back. She put one of them together the other day and I was actually quite impressed (against can for scale):-

I have 2 massive crates full of Lego from my childhood, occasionally I'll stick pick it up and make something (last item was a housing for 120MM pc fan as needed something for my desk to keep me cool!)
 
I succumbed to some Lego offers on Amazon recently: Yesterday I had the Grand Prix Racer delivered. A bargain @ £46.66. It took a lot of effort to not open it, but it went into loft for kids.

I've also got the LEGO City Coast Guard 60014: Coast Guard Patrol on order (also reduced). The wife is starting to get annoyed with me, but I can't resist buying Lego 'for the kids'. :D

Last year I bought the Unimog and my then 6 yr old spent days building it. He loved building it and I loved watching him build it, only helping out once or twice when his hands/fingers weren't big/strong enough. I'd much rather he spend hours building Lego than playing Minecraft.

My missus just looked over my shoulder and reminded me to finish my Death Star. Completely forgot about it as its been on the shelf for 3 months since she 'tidied up'.

Bargain, got it for £125 at a local supermarket. Probably won't have time until Christmas to build the bugger though :(

Thats a steal :(

I got the technic helicopter set 9396 for £48 off Asda Direct. Going to have to buy the power functions for it though, Very good model, took 3-4 hours to build
