***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Anybody here done the Lego Fan Tour? I went last week and it's an amazing experience. So many little nuggets of info relating to the rich history of the past up to present day things that are just cool. We spent time at the original house where Lego was invented, time in the Vault housing almost every retail set since 1965, loads of time in Lego House and also a tour of the factory. Highly recommended trip even if you're only a little bit of a fan.

Lego Insiders weekend Saturday and Sunday with GWP's and double points. Not massively impressed, but had a £100 gift cars so ended up buying the NASA Discovery Shuttle and Ecto-1 to get the Record Player and Winter Train GWP's.

Have points to spend on there, but will wait for the Star Wars deals I think next May.

Picked up Rivendell when it went on sale at Amazon. Still not competed the fake Orthanc tower i got in the summer.

Hoping they release another big Lotr set next year along with a few smaller ones.

Nope, it's this one, released a few months ago

That McLaren P1 looks amazing.

Lego is so stupidly expensive these days, almost £400 for it. Then I remembered I’ve spent similar figures on the Sian, Chiron, GT3, Daytona etc

Arrrg, feel obligated to pull the trigger and buy it!

Picked up the McLaren from Amazon for £300 in the BFS.

Had it priced tracked for since this post. Checked on it later and it was completely sold out.
