Hey guys.

Quick query, I'll be moving into a flat soon, and won't have the space for my 3 Lego Technic sets, built or dismantled into a box.

So, due to me thinking about selling them, do people prefer to buy them already built up (considering it's Technic and not normal Lego), or would I be better off dismantling and putting them in the boxes?

I would sooner buy a technic model dismantled. You could also do the potential buyer a favour and sort the parts. I bought a few of the bigger models recently and it must have taken me over an hour to sort the parts :p.

I may do this then. The most recent set (8421 Mobile Crane), actually has numbered bags in it, but sod remembering which bits were in which. Think ziplock bags sorted by colour will do it tbh.

Would anyone here be interested in buying the above or 8437 Future Car / Sahara Blaster (1997) or 8462 Tow Truck (1998)? If so then I'll get a MM post up.

Man this thread really makes me envious.

I mean I know Lego is for kids, but all those lovely Star Wars vehicles/models are just screaming out to be bought and built.

For me especially the Superstar destroyer.

WHere the hell do you store such a thing once built!

Death Star £233 on lego website today. Waiting for May 4th to buy anything from the lego store so I get my Limited edition Revan :)

I have bought a shocking amount since Christmas, stuff that was going to be discontinued has been bought and put away for the next two Christmases and birthdays for my son. I have now started picking up single figures from ebay rather than buy more whole sets.

Picked up the new Clone Rex and Ree Yees from the jabbas sail barge as I'm not keen on the sail barge when we have a Jabbas palace for his birthday.

Also got the droid escape to get the two sandtroopers. Seriously tempted by the Gunship too :(

Actually just got an email, all set's are 15% off on the Star wars stuff. Some of it is still cheaper elsewhere though.

Umbaran Cannon is calling me, sadly the gunship is still cheaper at John Lewis and Tesco :(
