My son is far more interested in the Clone War era. Should have them nailed down this year. I'm buying one per week on average I find slipping the individual figures in past the Mrs far easier than a set.

I got my Ghostbusters and Technic Grand Prix Racer today. Haven't started on the racer yet, but here is the Ecto 1

Looking at the full article of that Mini, I don't like the shape at all. No where near as nice as the camper van. The first picture doesn't look too bad the rest look a bit odd

Been bought a couple of small kits recently as "jokey" presents, on browsing Brickset I managed to find some of the kits I had as a nipper in the mid 80s. Starting to get the bug again

I had these two sets, I remember bleating daily and circling them in the argos catalogue to try to get these one xmas.

Seriously tempted to pick them up on ebay. My son loves the SW stuff but I prefer the castle and kingdom sets. More for the money without paying Lucas/Disney a cut.

Not as far as I know! Its too expensive to produce at the rite price point!! However I think the plans are available online somewhere, you just need to buy the bricks!!

Damn! thought I read somewhere it was a modified set

Yeah its not officially available. It was in the original proposal on Cuusoo for the Ghostbusters set, but Lego only took the car through to production.

Really not sure about the Mini, part of me thinks it looks cool, but a big part thinks there's too many bespoke parts and it doesn't look "Legoey" enough.

Will probably get it though
