Filco Majestouch 2 ?
No backlight but it's a decent keyboard in my opinion.

I did look at that (had seen it mentioned a lot in this thread) But it seems to offer less than the qpad for more money?

no back lights
no keyboard rest
no media keys
no usb hub
no audio ports
no key puller
no alternate colour WASD keys

Is it good enough to justify the extra price?

The keyboard itself really is a brilliant piece of kit, i bought mine with the Cherry brown switches, red + blue WASD keys, red escape and blank windows keys, didnt bother with the key puller its really not necessary and dont like rests find it uncomfortable, all in all it cost me 140ish delivered, you are looking at £120 without any optional extras, what it comes down to is you get what you pay for.
i have fallen in love with mine, i purposely went with the filco because it didnt have all these pointless lights and ports that i've never used, i wanted a keyboard that is a keyboard...
wether or not its worth the extra is up to you, you have to ask yourself what you want from the keyboard, you also have to think about what kind of switches you want, i've never touched the QPAD so i cant comment on which one is better,

I just wanted to update people on my psychosis. It was infact my phone making the duck noise when it was low on battery.

edit: That Mk looks nice! I was but off by people saying it lacked build quality, from your comments it seems they were wrong?

I would personally always go with a UK layout, but the fact that it's impossible to buy any PBT caps for a UK layout is why I always go US layout.

The reason I haven't gone with black widow is because the quality is supposed to be really bad. A few mentions of keys popping off etc after a couple of months.

im on my second black widow ultimate atm.

the first developed an annoying double click issue on the b key, and the 8 key stopped working completely so i took it apart to clean it out but snapped the clip on the side whilst dismantling it so I bounced it off a door frame at high velocity in a temper. Interestingly this solved the doubble click and the 8 key problem >,< but left the fascia in several pieces :P

Bought a second one which Ive had for 2 months, the double click issue has again occured on several keys and the LED on my u key keeps flashing :(

Wont be buying another razer keyboard again (their mice are excellent and will still use those)

going for a mionix zibal next

*arrow keys are now back to black(just tryed it to see what it would look like).

no back lights - Woo! flashy lights! Are you 10 years old? Do you have to look at the keyboard to use it? :)
no keyboard rest - Optional extra, I have one and love it, worth the price it will last forever.
no media keys - You don't need media keys, you can use software to program key shortcuts to "media functions". Example: my scroll lock is a global mute button, and ctrl + page up / down are volume controls.
no usb hub - Do you really need this? :p Buy a separate one if you really do, don't bulk up the keyboard un-necessarily
no audio ports - As above...
no key puller - Optional extra that's not really needed
no alternate colour WASD keys - As above...

Have I "konvinked" you further? :p

Ordered the tenkeyless with the red wasd keys (I would prefer blue but I would want darker ones really) (I've also got the letter 'c' on the clipboard now so I can type in the meantime :p)

Yeah in all honestly I probably wouldn't have used many if any of the extra features I listed above (probably just the media keys and wristrest), I was more listing them for comparison. The Filco wristrests were incredibly expensive on top of an already expensive keyboard so I decided to give them a miss.

Agreed, would expect the wrist rest to have an Apple logo on it for that money ;-)... Have heard they are nice in the flesh though... but you can always buy it later when you have more cash.
