I think you've got more hair down there than my underarms.

And yeah I'm pretty sure your board is using mechanical clear switches.

Lol, gross.

Got dad that Cherry one in the end for xmas, blue switches do make a fair old clickedly clack!

Probably been discussed already but that's that Corsair mech keyboard with red switches out now.

Now that it's past Xmas think I will try sell my Tenkeyless and just buy the Majestouch and the leather wrest. After using it for a few weeks, its just so nice to type on. Though I seem to still make more spelling mistakes!

Will make a big loss in money but oh well =/

Really don't think so, it's just the plastic cap that goes over the rubber dome. They key clicks onto the cap which is held in place over the dome, you can't take the cap off unless you unscrew the whole top. Here's my Compaq, which is definitely rubber dome (which i know since i take it apart and clean it every few months):

Really into the idea of being able to create a fully custom layout from WASD. I think if i'm spending that much on the keyboard then I'll go the whole hog and submit a file with my layout on it, as even using the Wingdings fonts on their design tool i'm still not 100% happy with it!

Going to go for the brown switches, but also waiting until they are producing UK layouts!

His looks very different from what you've posted. Remember this is a 16yr old board I think he said.. Who knows what it is. Doesn't look rubber dome though that's for sure.

Mine must be close to that too, the only difference i can see is that his are circular. Most mechanical switches are square/cross shaped anyway.

Could always ask him to take the top off (although i'm not sure if we want to see that ;)) or ask him how it feels to type on...

That pic wasn't good to see after I'd just eaten :S

Just ordered myself a corsair K60. The fact that the F keys are domes rather than switches is a bit annoying but otherwise I'm looking forward to it. Cherry reds sound interesting - I do game but they sound awesome for typing.

Reds should be great for gaming as well as typing. Generally linear switches are said to be better for gaming where as tactile are said to be better for typing. I have browns witch are the same as reds with a tactile bump, find them great for typing and gaming.

From what I read browns require more force than reds?
