**** The Official OnePlus 3 Thread ****

Although some folks have not been too happy with the customer service they have received from OnePlus, I am actually quite impressed!

The first time I went to charge up my new OnePlus 3 with the supplied Dash Fast Charger, it failed on me, and then refused to charge the phone at all.

After a quick on-line chat, followed by a couple of emails from a very helpful support representative, a free replacement charger was sent out to me yesterday with Priority EXPRESS shipping, and was delivered to me today by DHL, just 23 hours after it was picked up from Poland.... not bad going!

I am pleased to say that this one works a treat, going from 36% to 93% charge in about half an hour, and on to full charge in less than one hour.

So far as I am concerned that is the way customers should be treated, and I am happy to share my experiences! :)

One thing I've noticed in reviews is that they all claim average battery life of around 4 hours screen-on-time.

Every day I'm getting between 5-6 hours screen-on-time, today I'm on 3h34m with 44% battery remaining, it's a normal work day and I've been playing Pokemon go as well and using it as a mobile office.

How are reviews getting such terrible battery life? I don't get it.

I get great battery. Some reviews have claimed the phone to have great battery life too.

Aren't WiFi modules normally stronger range wise on laptops vs phones? How does another phone compare . Need more info... Distance etc.

Are they? My Note 4 gets 105Mb/s on a 100Mb/s connection - exactly same as I get on my PC plugged via ethernet cable and my laptop via either ethernet or wifi. Even my Note 2 wasn't far off, going at around 80Mb/s

Price is so low on that phone, they put a lot of RAM, good screen and great CPU I suppose they must have skipped on something - ie, the wifi.

We're on about range not absolute speed. My OP3 has no issues getting over 100Mb/s over wifi.

No need to jump to conclusions.

Too many bugs in 3.2.4 apparently, including Android Pay not working, it looks as if version 3.2.6 with that particular bug fixed, and at least a couple of others also, is due to be released on Monday, so it is best to wait for that one to arrive I reckon!

Certainly will be interesting to see how quickly they do release a new update. There must be thousands of people with broken AP!

Tip, force the phone to use the LTE connection ONLY.

If you have a good LTE signal you should have no problems, no more dropping to H/H+, during my regular routes I never lose LTE connection anymore.

Use code in dailer - *#*#4636#*#*

Shouldn't really need to do this, but most Android devices seem to have trouble with this.

Got a question all.

Convinced my wife to finally get a 'normal' sized phone, as her iPhone4 I want to destroy and I have decided not to purchase her an Xperia Z5c.

The OnePlus3 looks perfect and uses USB-C too like my 6P. This Dashcharge has me a bit confused though.

All my devices at home charge through this beauty from Aukey. Will the OnePlus3 still quickcharge if I charge it from USB-C on this? I prefer to use one charger instead of multiple ones if you get my meaning.

it won't quickcharge (15W) off that charger but it should still charge at 10W which isn't bad.

Dashcharge is 20W.
