Hardware is ok, but I read the software has issues. I know mine would take blurry pictures, which ruined the ones I took at my sisters wedding. Ironically, the next day they issued an update which had a camera fix. Didn't make much of a difference.
I have took good ones in the past, but it's not completely reliable. Not sure what it's like now as I sold my phone due to other issues and bugs.
That's the worry, everything seems great but if the camera is cack then it's a deal breaker. Shall have to see how the new one is, ideally I don't want to spend S8 sort of money but if that's the way it's going..
If they keep on going up in price they'll end up in a spot where you may as well spend a few more to get the Pixel 2/3/etc. Not everyone can be Samsung or aspire to be them.

This is a pretty big reason for me not to consider the OnePlus 5
OnePlus has just confirmed that it will not release new major updates to the OnePlus 2 going forward. Basically, this means that an Android 7.0 Nougat update will never arrive for the OnePlus 2.
