**** The Official OnePlus 5 Thread ****

This is a pretty big reason for me not to consider the OnePlus 5 :(

So you ignore the good news? 3 and 3T are getting 2 major OS updates. OP2 and X are not being updated which is a shame but they were small fry compared to the 3 and 3T and going forward OP phone should get 2 major updates like Nexus.

The feature updates I've been getting on my 3 every few months have been great. Even some flagships don't have 7.1 which the 3 has.

Fair enough. I had forgotten that the OnePlus 3/3T shipped with Marshmallow and it has been confirmed that they will receive Android O.

I need a new phone so still holding out for this before deciding. Having had HTC M8 and then M9, I want a change.

I'm currently using Moto G4 as my Nexus 6p has been returned.

There isn't anything I want :o S8 has that fingerprint read location, 1+5 looks like iPhone and Sony XZ is massive for 5.5" screen

Can't keep using my Moto until the Pixel 2 in October :(

Anyone know the price?
I've a feeling it's gonna be either in the £400's or maybe as much as £500 or higher. They've increased prices with each of the last couple phones.

I'm just hoping it won't be as much as that and they at least attempt to remain more affordable than the other devices with similar spec. But if it's gonna have 8GB RAM then I would guess it'll be mid 400's or so.

Looks a little generic but in a good way, most phones do these days.

8GB is pointless, I hope that isn't adding much to the price of the phone.
