**** The Official OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro Thread ****

We're talking apples* and oranges. I say that OnePlus has put up their prices and you say 'sure, but look how expensive every other phone is'. I say that OnePlus have moved on from being able to call themselves flagship killers because of the price and you again say 'look at how much you get compared to the most expensive Apple product with some added storage options.'

As a side issue, that iPhone 11 will be fully supported in 5 years and will be running the latest version of the OS without lag or stutter and it'll still be worth a few quid second hand. At that point, you could argue the iPhone 11 gave you a lot more for your money.
* no pun intended.
You said OnePlus 7’s have accelerated to premium prices - my point is they aren’t premium prices. [£600-£800 is now mid range]

Rubish timing on the Mclaren edition. I fly out to Thailand on the 4th and wanted a new phone before I go so will have to decide between Pro or non pro.

I fail to see the point of releasing so many phones in a single year. I don't see what the 7T Pro offers that coudln't wait a few more months. The 7T is clearly an upgrade over the 7 but then it cannibalises Pro and T Pro. And the McLaren Edition... Why?
I think they need to reconsider their business plan but that aside I might be willing to upgrade soon from my 3T.

Is the OP7T Pro seriously only in one colour? Oh well, thank god for skins... But I wanted my black (or mirror grey). The McLaren Edition doesn't interest me at all as the price is too high for my liking, and the only thing it offers over the normal version is extra RAM. I may be tempted to just get the normal 7T as comparing it to the 7T Pro spec wise looks much better for money but the idea of a complete non-notch full screen is pretty tempting. Hopefully they'll show both in the London pop up event this Saturday.

Also, the 10 rollout has been paused, they hope to have a more stable version out by the end of the month: https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...-9-5-3-ota-t3931090/post80470977#post80470977
Heads Up Team,

The team has gathered lot of feedback and is working on preparing a hotfix version to fix the reported bugs so please be patient.

Current Rollout Status: Paused

ETA: Before the end of this month / post launch

Thank you for your patience and consideration,

Edit: Wait, the 7T only comes in 128gb? The 7T series seems very limited compared to the original 7 series...

My Mate 10 Pro will be replaced by the 7t shortly, seems decent value and like the one plus vibe, not interested in the curvy 7t pro screen

I can't see a need for over 128 myself, with cloud storage, large data packages cheap and WiFi pretty much everywhere nowdays

Except the good old London underground. Zero network coverage and Wi-Fi only at stations (which is only free with certain networks and never works during peak hours thanks to congestion). It's due to this I have a lot of stuff stored locally.

Although I just cleared a lot of junk files from my phone, and I think I probably can cope with 128gb...

XDA's review seems to have a lot of issues. Ghost touches, battery and overheating problems, and data connectivity when moving around. And OP still hasn't fixed their memory management. Hopefully this is due to early software but some of these issues also affected the 7/7 Pro with the 10 update, so hopefully most of these will be fixed.

Also wow... Google those gestures are horrible :p. Come on OP, add back in your old ones.
