So.....it's still exactly like it has been this generation, exactly like they said last night, publishers can do whatever they want, hence the online passes from EA.

All that's been said is that if a publisher wants to do anything like that, on their head be it.

I find it amusing the way it's been portrayed as Sony backtracking :D

PS4 pre-order in....

and posting the below in here as less likely to be as antagonistic as in the E3 or XBOne thread.

Still can't get over how wrong MS have got this.

Can MS even backtrack and remove the 24 hour authentication and DRM functions at this late stage?????

The used game licensing will also mean used XBOne games are more expensive than PS4 games.

Game rentals like Blockbuster will only be able to rent out PS4 games rendering a big % of potential MS market redundant.

MS have got to re-visit their future business model soon, heck even at the proposed rrp without the above issues the XBOne would be quite an attractive proposition as a console.

Will believe it when I see the receipt.....:p

I'm glad they've gone wired, the number of times the battery has run out on me on the Bluetooth one mid-game is ridiculous. Horrendously uncomfortable too.

No AV-Out, just HDMI and Optical.

Looking at those photos of it (thanks, TheVoice) I can't even tell where the blu ray disc goes lol. Guessing under the Sony logo on the left side, then I can't tell at all where you can change the HDD.. Sleek.

Ive been reconsidering a PS Vita, but I just dont need remote play, do you think there will be a situation where its more a companion device like with the WiiU controller and Smartglass? I presume it wouldnt be hard to do as theyve got remote play already sorted...

ps3ud0
