Stop using that site, Get the argos app and add all the stores you would travel to your favourites and then just look for ps4's and click find stock. It will search all those stores you added far quicker, Stock informer is about 5 minutes late with updates.

Found this to be utterly useless and the postcode checker is currently/has been disabled the last few days.

THANK YOU! Will give this a try. So annoying that the Argos site says in stock for collection but you have to guess where as it only looks at the 10 closest places to the place you searched.

I'm looking for one but not willing to pay the "ticket tout" prices. I'm starting to think that 1/4 PS4s out there are sitting unused in boxes waiting to be sold on ebay...Fell proud of yourselves for helping skew supply and demand. These people are probably the first to complain when the stores price gouge.

What risk?? He would have screwed the retailer over and returned them for refund! He's taken no risk at all!

Amazon tried to take money from her card on Monday 4 times but Natwest went down so she's "lost" her preorder. She called up to complaint and Amzonon said she won't get one until February now.

Well yes but she is still annoyed. I'm not taking sides and she has moved on, just looking to buy one now.

I agree she should switch banks, but I'd expect the 'worlds most customer centric company' to contact her about the failed payment before releasing her order to someone else. I'd suggest she escalate the complaint to the UK MD's email address, as thats shoddy customer service.

On another note I'm wondering how many of people are using this console on a 1080p panel.

I think it would be wasted on anything less tbh the graphics are amazing for launch and if they do get better with time this console I would say is the best ever made.

Nothing has had such a huge leap in graphics before as this on a console in the past 20 years

They most likely sent an automated email as soon as the first one was rejected.
 
well today is my 40th and I'm like a child and can't wait to get home and unwrap my birthday gift , its a ps4. killzone here I come, oh wait. missus is taking me out tonight for birthday meal, so have to play it tomorrow eve but least I can open the box later lol ...happy days

Thanks for that, i just rang them myself and they said they have temporarily added some on the Amazon UK site until there site is ready for ordering in the UK.. Almost £10 inc shipping but hopefully makes my Astros work as i recieved another adapter today and no luck.

The most important thing to do, is open Killzone and get a big ol' whiff of that 'new game' smell :D I've become quite addicted to it

The leap from the PS2 gen to the PS3 gen was far greater.

So you're saying the leap from 16 bit consoles to things like the PS1 was a smaller step than 720p > 1080p and a few bells and whistles?
