I'm thinking of getting AC for £22.49 from Amazon, and then doing the digital upgrade for £10. Worth it?

I've got FIFA 14 and Killzone at the moment, and I think I just suck with console FPS games because I just can't aim properly! It's been like this for years now. It's what put me off playing the likes of Halo 3 after like an hour, which is a shame because that was a birthday present from my brother :( I just don't feel motivated anymore to play KZ, and the save points don't help.

There's no other games I'm interested in. Already traded in Knack, Madden and NBA. I have CoD and BF on the PC already.

AC4 is brilliant, so yes, however bear in mind that if you go down this route you have to have the PS3 disc in the machine whenever you load it. It's not fully digital.

If this doesn't bother you, go right ahead. :D
 
Assassins Creed 4 does look fantastic but I've promised myself no more PS4 (PC too) games until the end of the academic year, otherwise I'm the least productive student in the world.

Should be some good titles out by then too! :).
 
Finished Killzone now. Really good game, didn't feel like a launch game at all to me (in a good way). Some parts were pretty tough on hard difficulty. The end twist was really good as well, super ending for a FPS.

Ya, my first go at the final level had me "Wtf is going on", then I realise :D

Yeah especially if you go through the door rather than the vent at the beginning and the ID system identifies you as Kellan. I actually managed to do the final level without been detected. Certainly beats the traditional "Boss Fight" IMO :)
 
Picked up a Vita today for remote play - fears have been quelled so far. Played a few hours of Knack via remote play and it was smooth with no obvious delay.
All out of cash though so gotta wait until next week to pick up something more 'twitchy' and thus susceptible to latency, like BF4.

Regarding the PS4 itself, it doesnt seem as finished as the 360 was at launch tbh, but im sure it will improve. The controller is much improved over the DS3 and I can use it without getting pains which is nice :p still prefer the 360 controller but its fine for what it is, and if anything is better (for me to hold) then the now smaller XBO controller.
PSN seems quite unreliable thus far though :( hopefully Sony pull it together as time goes on, especially with PS+ being needed for online play.

Although you cant reserve anymore, this will show when stock is in locally (phone Argos' automated phone system to check stock before traveling to the store).
 
Argos have some FIFA and PS+ bundles in stock. Just ordered the FIFA bundle for delivery tomorrow :)

Initially the website says they're out of stock but if you put a correct postcode in it should confirm available for delivery within 2 days.

Just got my GP3 headset today took a while to set it up lol but I'm well pleased with great sound from it haven't checked out the chat on it yet but so far the sound quality on BF4 is spot on.

Anyone else get one??
