More mates have started to get PS4s and i've started to realise once again how rubbish Sony's voice chat offering is...

Why has this not been fixed? It's been this bad since the PS3. Why don't they implement a good noise gate to block off sounds from my speakers being broadcast and then seemingly compressed to other players.

It's game breaking for me...i don't want to play with a headset to stop the sounds being broadcast...

Eh why wouldn't you use a headset when talking to people? One of my mates uses his ps4 camera and at times it just annoying

If you are using the bundled earpiece that may be the cause.

I picked up some turtle beach px4s and they were better, people could hear me much clearer

When i say headset i mean stereo headset for game sound and voice.

I'm currently using the Officially licensed £20 jobby one eared mic.
 
I must be going mad..

I Bought a PS4 yesterday and looking at spending my money on ordering the Super Mario 3D World game for my wiiU instead of buying a PS4 game.....

People were lining up outside of best buy shops in the US this morning for PS4s. Yes that's right, it came out over 2 months ago and there is so much demand for it over there that you still need to get in a queue outside a shop before it opens. Insane demand for the PS4 in the US.

Given they've sold less than Xbone in the US* and yet are in greater demand it seems more likely it's very low supply with artificial shortages, perhaps in a bid to create exactly this kind of publicity as Sony spread the available units over 50 country's for launch... It'll be interesting to see if the tactic of keeping some markets short of supply in order to try to gain a foothold in others against no opposition pays off or means they miss sales as people get annoyed with waiting. I wonder how many purchases are semi impulse based on a new release and get put off after a while as the hype settles, the moment passes and people decide to wait for price drops/more games to be released (for both next gen consoles).

It's not really artificial, it's just down to the fact that the console is out in over 50 countries already, but considering it sold very close to the same amount of units as XB1 in the US last month, the demand is still massive over there.

Well that is just silly. The few games i've played on BF4 have been through the DS4 as this is the best way to get my PC headset working, but even so, that is quite poor.

Yeap, I read this a while back I'm relation to bf4, my camera has been unplugged ever since
