Sony were behind MS in this area (system updates) last gen, and are slow again this gen
think they are busy getting ready to launch in Japan, getting headsets working that are now launching and preparing ps now, I somehow don't think media playback and 3d blu ray is massively high on their lists at the moment..
you'd think Sony had released a erm machine that plays games ... ?? but seriously these features will come in time.. give it just that, time..
Buy an Xbone instead then.... Oh wait, that doesn't do 3D Blu Ray either.
Must admit I have no interest in any 3D content whatsoever..
Exactly, surely those with 3D tvs would already have a stand alone 3D bluray player anyway.
I sold my 3D player when I got a PS3 and I sold my PS3 when I got a PS4, so have no current method of playing 3d BluRays. By no means a big deal, but it would be nice to have it included in either the PS4 or XO at some point.

Snap, I have quite a few 3D Blu Ray DVDs due to the fact the playstation would support them. I do find it odd that it was not supported out the box. I do think Sony need this update ASAP though as the Blu Ray playback is a mess in general. Clunky, slow, some Blu Rays don't work when allowing info from Internet.
Agreed on that, as it is handy plugging my HDD straight in to play movies. As said though, I can forgive Sony the wait whilst they are in the midst of worldwide launch still.

3D is over the way it is. its a fad, why bother with the effort. 4K is the actual new driver.

Well, I've had my first few hours with PS4 having had a 360 since launch.
I'm very impressed so far. Once you get everything set up I just like the way it all just works. Pressing the PS button to drop to the dashboard and then back into a game is a great touch and near enough instant.
Looking forward to lots of new features in the future.
My only quibble...my left thumbs slips off the thumb stick a fair bit. Especially in fifa 14.

Things missing like 3D Blu-ray, instant resume etc I assumed was due to both Sony and Microsoft rushing the consoles out before they were technically ready as to avoid the other getting a head start.
As has been said already once the PS4 is released in Japan we may start seeing more focus on getting these system updates out.

Does anyone know the max amount you can have in your wallet? Ive tried to find it online without any luck, £115 seems to be the max ive got to however ive had a few pennies more than that but i cant add another £35 card. Seems daft you cant even have two full games worth of credits.

I think I read somewhere else that you can set a limit in your account. That might just be completely made up though
