*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Does anyone watch Twitch streams on their PS4? I'm wondering if it's just me or whether the chat functionality in the app is borked. None of my messages show up.
 
That Alienation game is hella fun! Had a few hours on it last night. Damn there is some amount of information and power up tokens to collect in between spammy fighting. Wicked though when you have four players back to back blasting everything from every direction.

Sure was fun when all the artillery action started and the bigger monsters came out. Several were doing hulk smashes with some strange looking whip? I honestly cannot remember as so much was happening it became a spam fest and mashing the buttons. Endless hoards came out and they got us all. Crazy the amount of action that can take place at once. Love it.

Sometimes some of the monsters with mechanical suits and shields feels like a mix of Star Wars, Tremors when the giant worms came out and Space Troopers. As well as Commando for the drop off and pickups.

That's par for the course when it comes to consoles and such. Many people just buy a new bit of hardware for one game. And then it pays off in the long run as they buy more and more games. Like when I bought my WiiU for over £300 for the Monster Hunter bundle (admittedly I also got Nintendo Land with it too) and ended up buying a whole load more games for it down the line.

I'd have almost done the same with the PS4, but I've had it ages unboxed, then I decided earlier this month to buy a few games and finally get to using it. So far, I've only really played Uncharted Collection on it. Bloodborne and Uncharted 4 still have the plastic on and Ratchet and Clank only had the plastic removed due to my OCD about the cover sleeve not lining up properly. I won't bother with the included MGS5, especially as I've just 95% the PC version (only have animals left to get) with hundreds of hours invested.

A little while ago I just got the last treasure in Uncharted 1, with 80% trophies. I think it's time to move onto the 2nd game, which many say is the best. I hope the combat is better than the first game, I wasn't all too fond of the gunplay.
 
I see Tomb Raider gets its PS4 release around 11th October. Devs are aiming for 1080p30 (which makes me wonder what it was on Xbone?). But as it's coming out in October, shouldn't it also have a mandated Neo version (which surely must be 1080p60).

Considering that's not official information then no.
 
I think my PSN account has been hacked had a email from sony at 3am this morning saying..

This email confirms that your Sony Entertainment Network sign-in ID (Email address) has been changed successfully.

Iv not changed my email and now i can't sign in...Time for a long phone call to Sony i think :(

UPDATE
My account was compromised over night nothing was talking from my bank thank god.. Sony got my account back within minutes
