*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Yeah, I quite like the new particle theme. It'll do until something better comes along. No-one seems to be putting the same efforts into creating themes as they did on PS3.

Flow, they have really refined it. Less weave and really blends in with the colour. Very subtle. I also like the white notifications. Keeping it simple and clean unlike the gaudy black ones.

Has Sony changed the fan profile? Not that my model made much noise with Uncharted 4 but you sometimes heard the change in fan speeds. Now I hear no changes. More or less as quiet as idle.

I was wondering that myself. Only been watching Twitch but it's as quiet as a mouse now.

No it hasn't. There's loads of great games for it, I really have no idea how any gamer can struggle to find something they like on it.

Indeed, some of the best exclusive (if not the best) games of this generation so far and all the multi platforms. It's hardly mediocre.

I like the folders. I have one labelled Games and one labelled PSN Crap. Much neater. I like the new particle background too.

Also got an invite yesterday for the For Honor closed alpha which I think starts tomorrow until the 20th. Looking forward to giving it a go.

I must admit I've been disappointed with the exclusives - especially compared to previous Sony generations which were absolute leagues better in this regard. Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, and that's about it. Infact, the best exclusive I played on the PS4 was the Last of Us PS3 remake. So, i'm still waiting for the kickass exclusives to arrive and, annoyingly, a new console has been announced that will run them better when/if they finally arrive. As a multiplatform console it has been good.

Folder wise I am going to create a "Never used" folder and leave the games as they are now.

Complete separate but has anyone got or used one of the PS4 scuff controllers?

Having got used to my Xbone Elite controller I really miss the paddles on the back for re-mapping the in game jump option.

I would rather have a "Pro" controller in the same vein as the Elite (better quality pad with added features both at the hardware and software level) but haven't heard or read about this happening for the PS4. (I was kind of hoping this may have been an option coming with the new Pro console).

Looks like you can do profile banners now
