Not sure if its been mentioned already, I just noticed PS4 Remote Play on my Macbook Air now has a 1080p option for PS4 Pro's and you can enter text with the keyboard.

Bien sur but if your network can handle 1080p60, the Pro will do it. Must have a newer encoder or something. Or the extra processor clocks take care of it. I dunno.
 
Only just realised 4.0 update was out.

Well pleased to see folders option added!

And noticed in friends list it now states when a friend was online last, only goes back a month but Ive been waiting for that old ps3 feature for like forever to hit the ps4!

Ive labelled one 'Games' which holds all my purchased games and another folder 'Ps+ Games' for all the free monthly stuff.

I also named a folder 'PS Apps' to put most of the useless junk you can't delete.

I guess it means more scrolling to get to games now but if its disk based putting the disc in will go straight to the game like before I suspect. Maybe I will remove games I play a lot to make it easier.
 
So, got my PS4 Slim yesterday and I'm quite impressed with its size and mostly its silence :). The PS4 i replaced with this would normally start turning into a Dyson after 30 mins or so of playing Deus Ex, Played it for a few hours and it hardly made a sound.

Your's must be broken, all slim consoles should be LOUD.:D
 
Not happy with this 4.0 update at all.

GUI has been made more like i'm trying to use a flippin iphone, and the messaging platform is completely screwed now.

Used to use messaging app as main point of contact for PSN users, but its so bad now. In the past it used to send through messages in the wrong order but now it just sits there crappin out. Had enough and uninstalled it.

Scroll onto a game/app and click options and if possible it will say add/create folder.

Then you can name it and ass whatever you want into it.

Its a good feature but it all it really does is make another long bar of contents below the main xmb bar.

Also put this in the Pro thread, but figured it belonged in here too.

When I get the Pro, i'm thinking about how best to arrange the PSN account structure.

The plan is to move my current PS4 to the living room TV for my son to use and have the Pro at the desk to replace it.

Would it be best to keep the current PS4 as the Primary console and then log into the PS4 Pro?

Just thinking about how my son will use the content saved on my account.

If for instance I were to buy Minecraft, would we both be able to play at the same time this way?
