That's because you are older.

The games are objectively better in every way, graphics, size, level of interaction, story telling - even bang per buck (PS1 games were £44.99 to £49.99 when it released).

You are just jaded like the like the rest of us, you've seen everything pretty much, there's only so many ways you can tell the same story.

Ask Nintendo, they have been selling the same games for 30 years and don't even bother switching it up.
 
So got my first headset today. Can't say I was ever a fan of them, obviously.

Reading around for the A50 and so on some saying they're thundery. Was originally going to go for these but wasn't sure as I didn't want to pay for something that might sit on the unit for a long time. Quite surprised how thundery these Turtle Beach Stealth 520 set really are. People found my voice clear and precise with default settings both headset and PS4 without the foam for external sounds/noise.

Peoples descriptions on good bass and so on staggers me. Seems so many love thundery boomy bass? I wish there was a setting to tone down the bass since I'm using the default untampered sound. Then, geez! There is an enhanced bass and treble. God no! Super human hearing? What a load of manure. It destroys the sounds. Sounds so flat.

Uncharted 4, had tested it on chapter 13 marooned. Lovely all the footsteps, chirps, leaves and whatnot. More so the cracks in some of the weaponry as well as bullets whizzing past but good god. The grenades! Any huge explosions. Its like a thunderstorm. No destortion or anything but its horribly heavy.

Lovely and clear voice chat while Assetto Corsa is screaming away on the main speakers. Nice and comfortable though.
 
Quite surprised how fun this headset is in Movie mode knowing the direction of the footsteps where the enemies are coming from. Uncharted 4 and Tomb Raider Definitive Edition feels like new games again. Let alone how far you can hear how many voices are in the distance.

Unreal how clear the insects sound as well. All the small little sounds.
 
Hi all. Well my ps4 has developed an annoying noise. We had a few power cuts the other day and since then the is a constant soft clicking/ticking noise from inside the ps4, even when it is on standby. Kind of sounds like a fan thats ticking over on low rpm or hdd platters in constant spin.

I have googled every youtube vid i ncan find and none of the noises in those vids match mine.

Its quite a high rpm noise - i would say 15-20 clicks per second. Does not sound like the HDD nor does it seem to be coming from the hdd area. Its more to the right rear area of the console.

Anyone got any ideas?
 
Have we finished with all the remastered games now? I've haven't read anything about any new ones coming along. Ezio Collection might have been the last.
 
Guys, I can't for the life of me open the NAT type on my brothers PS4 so he can play COD: MW on open NAT. He is having trouble connecting to people.

Does anyone know a sure fire way of doing it please? He is connected via homeplug ethernet to my VM superhub 2.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I have followed various youtube vids but to no avail.
 
I did post this in the Pro thread but if anyone has any idea please let me know! :)

Is there anyway i can use a splitter to have my PS4 Pro to my new 4k TV and my 1440p monitor? I would have thought it would have been easy to find out but from what i've seen it needs to output to two of the same displays or it outputs at the lowest resolution which in my case would be 1080p.

I don't need them both on at once but i want it connected to my monitor when streaming and playing multiplayer at 1080p but to my TV at 4k when playing offline or single player games without having to constantly change HDMI leads.
 
Is it just me but the next 2 months release schedule is crazy good?

Agree, epic stuff to give my pro a good workout.

Problem is, does anyone know where I can get a good deal on bucket loads of time. Got Mafia 3 sitting here unopened after a month!

Uncharted 1 for about an hour.
Witcher 3...about an hour.
GTA 5, done the 1st Heist. (Lvl 100+ on my online character though)
Last of Us, played about 5 hours?

Most of them I install it, play 2 hours first day and never put it back in again.
