Is PSN still held together with duct tape and blu tack?

Honestly, i have found it OK over the last 3 years. By no means petfect but consistently steady for me.

Happy to pay the subscription @ £40 a year. But £50? Big price hike and I may let it lapse now I have a 1x. That said even at £50 its still pretty good value for money given the games and discounts.

PSN is better than Xbox Live for me now. Maxes out my internet (70Mbits) and hasn't been offline for maintenance or whatever for as long as I can recall now.

How much? Looks glorious!

£63 including postage. Quite a lot over standard colours, not sure if it's because it's special/limited edition or just controllers are more expensive over there compared to UK prices. No choice though, want the colour, pay the price because for some reason Sony didn't release it here :(.

Price seems to have creeped up to €70 since I ordered.

I really want it too! How long was delivery?

It's a lot of money! A stomping great wad of cash to chuck away! I need to know 100% I'm getting the best deal before I can physically bring myself to hand over my money. Besides, the PS4 is two years old now and the Pro a year old and the XBox (Shooterbox!) is a good deal more powerful.

Meh, anyway Black Friday has been a total let-down this year. No PS4, no SSD, major suckage. Everything is too expensive.

The PS4 Pro deals were fairly decent though, you just kept moving your goal posts. It went from "console and a game for £300 and I'll buy" to "console and 3 games under £300 and I'll buy" and then "console and 3 specific games I want for under £300 and THEN I'll buy". :p

If you'd really wanted one you could have bought one of the bundles, sold/traded-in the games and got the exclusives you wanted for cheap. In any case, there'll be another round of promotions soon enough.

I never said I'd buy for £300 with one game (I checked my previous posts so don't bother).

Goalposts were not shifted. I may have given a pretty vague impression of what my goalposts were but they were not shifted internally. I wanted the same kind of deal I got when I bought my 360 years ago. A "couple" (meaning at least two) good games and the console, with a price no higher than £300 for the lot. Actually with the 360 I got about 6 or 7 games, but yadda yadda inflation, cost of AAA development, etc, etc.

I am not interested in GT, FIFA or COD so I never considered the current bundles worth buying. They might be good games if you're into that sort of thing but I am not.

But more than that, I am prepared to wait in the knowledge that - as you rightly say - different/better deals will come in future. It's not urgent. I have a whole Steam library to get through :) I still buy games for my PS2... I'm not afraid to wait years to get what I want at a price I consider worth it. Honestly, for the PC I never buy games for more than £10. I'm cheap :p The price is waiting years after release to play them. No big deal.

I will eventually get a PS4 when it's cheap and comes with a decent bundle that I consider worth the price. Meanwhile, there's no point in my continuing to post in this thread, so I'm done :p

That sounds like me!!! :p

Hopefully when the TLOU 2 comes out, there will be the new game and the old game bundled with the pro, if spiderman gets good reviews, I'll be buying regardless!

I'm in no rush either way for now so more than happy to wait for the right bundle to come along.

I keep looking at that - you had a chance to try it?

Yeah ! It’s good. (I’m finding it slightly more difficult than the 3rd game)

A mission can take a few hours if you take your time and use a non silenced sniper rifle. They feel really weighty when you shoot them. A proper thunderous crack when you fire. It’s satisfying ! My favourite rifles so far are the Winchester and the m1 carbine. :D

The setting which is in italy is great. Very colourful and sunny. Very vibrant.

Great value for 22 quid.

Dammit man, do you work for my credit card company or something :D

To be fair, I didn't need much talking into it, it looks great
