I went Xbox this Gen but the Kid wanted a PS5. Games like this make me realise I'm Playstation all the way.

Same, although I did have a PS5 at one point. I like the different games on xbox like Flight sim. Plan to get a ps5 again at some point though to catch top on anything I missed. Last Of Us 2 is an epic journey, its up there with part 1 maybe even better in some areas.

Bit off topic and not sure if better place to ask this, but I'm thinking of replacing my 55" CX with a 42" C3 mainly due to size, however looking at brightness of C2 in SDR mode on RTings it seems pretty dim compared to CX and it's not like CX is brightest screen around especially during day time

Been contemplating another run through of Uncharted now I finally have a PS5. Looks like just owing a thieves end disc and throwing a tenner there way will get the legacy of thieves collection.
Not bad that tbh, it's been ages since I played it but remember it looking pretty on the PS4.
E: Wish they'd do something similar with RDR2.

Yep. Legacy of thieves is worth it. Uncharted 4 and lost legacy are both fantastic in ps5

It was obvious the scores would be in the 9s, it just offers so much more over rivalling fighting games. A big starting roster with lots of customisation (yeah, you dont have to buy an outfit for 10 bucks
), complex movesets, multilayered stages, really high skill ceiling, single player stuff and it's the best looking fighting game of all time to top it off. And the only relevant 3d one left.Plus lots of stuff for newcomers to lower the barrier of entry and a fantastic practice mode/replay system that helps you learn along the way.
That's GOTY sorted for me and it's going to be alive for the next decade which is good since it's the only competitive game I play, apart from some SF6.
It's hard to believe the series has been around for 30 years, 2024 is it's 30th anniversary

I remember tekken 1. Use to annoy my brothers by picking that guy who could do a cartwheel kick and beating them every time.
And look where it's come visually, it's in ultrawide on PC but the level of detail is insane. This is all ingame with free camera and would look even better if they went with UE5's Lumen (PC crowd will mod it in at some point). Some shots are during Rage Art attacks and are blurred by the post-processing but still.
I hope there's native HDR like in the beta, it wasn't available in the demo.

I've played the Demo on PC and was in the beta for multilayer. It looks stunning and plays really well.
Same here, I got into the PS5-exclusive network test so had one extra chance to play.
Got it on both platforms anyways, the PS5 version is also flawless visually and in terms of performance but I might do most of online ranked on PC. What's left is solid netcode, we'll see about that.
Bamco shipped out my PS5 copy today and it's going to arrive tomorrow by the looks of it

come out into the hidden/lost city for the first time and it's this incredible place
