I also happen to have next Friday off work..

Mines coming from John Lewis.....I'm really hoping that it arrives early as I'm working from home for an extended period and I'm really not patient when waiting for new toys . Although I'm really not looking forward to either copying my installed games across, or redownloading them to the new console.

What's going to be the first game you play on the PS5 Pro?
I'm currently finishing off Alan Wake Remastered on PS5 in in preparation for Alan Wake 2 on PS5 Pro. I'm also especially looking forward to Final Fantasy Rebirth, as I picked up my copy of it when I was in Japan back in April and have been waiting to play it. It was literally £27 over there in a second hand store. It's the copy with the misprinted disc also!

Astrobot new speed run levels (although I doubt I will see the difference from the standard PS5). Then fire up Spiderman 2 and try the new graphics modes. Then probably HZD remastered, as its only a tenner! Finally, to really sink my teeth in I will finally try out Last of us Part 1 remastered.

No, I know I could remove the NVMe drive and install it in the Pro, but I'd hope not to have to mess around with that as I'll pass the OG PS5 on to another family member. If I can't do a direct connection between the two consoles I'll probably copy the data off to a USB HDD and move it that way, still quick than downloading 1-2TB of files.

Since I doubt I'll be able to get a disc drive in time probably HZD Remaster, not sure if I have any other digital titles that are Pro Enhanced

I'm going to do another playthrough of tlou2 myself with a bit of gt7 and my daughter wants to play through the horizon remaster with me.

My obstinance is beginning to crack. I've yet to buy BG3 but with the PS5 Pro patch announced, this might be the cliff I jump off to get on board. Previously, GTA6 was to be that moment but but but ... no must stay strong!

Looks like the current PS5 slim covers aren't compatible with the Pro after all. Baffling design decision given they're the same size, it's just the mounting points that are slightly different.

Deliberate ploy to stop people fitting the slim anniversary covers to a pro I think.

Yeah, i mentioned it earlier. I believe IGN have now confirmed with Sony..
Half expecting an article next that says oh btw the PS5 disk drives wont fit either .......
