Yeah i thought it was a deal but should be good to pass on to someone. The games are good but they are ones that i have digital so surplus having the disk versions. Will get it prepped for sale when my PS5 Pro arrives.

YouTube has now processed HDR on these 2 clips, so they both look much better now. Both are showing as 4K HDR.

Hard to say, but the HDR in that looks better than I recall on PS5. Could be the placebo effect. Hard to say what is different with Game boost.

BLOPS6. Looks good, but I have no real frame of reference as to how the OG PS5 version performs.

Some weird Monster Hunter game. No idea what's going on. Looks washed out a bit, but YT hasn't finished processing HDR yet, I think.

I'm gonna guess that it won't be patched by Nov 7th.

Bit weird as they showed some footage of the enhancements already. If I had to guess they are wasting time with the 8K mode that very few people will use.

It's baffling! As you say, it was all over the official footage Sony presented, which set an expectation it'll be there on release day. Sony have done a dreadful job at promoting / showcasing the PS5 Pro, this GT7 update delay, whilst likely not Sony's fault directly, just kinda adds to the feeling of lack of focus, communication and planning on Sony's behalf. It's all very strange for a company that's definitely no stranger to all of this.

Not too fussed about it not being ready though for Thursday. There's going to be so much else to play and try, it's almost an overwhelming number of titles, boost mode will also have me revisiting titles which aren't enhanced.

That's a bit of a shame. GT7 was probably the title I was looking forward to playing the most. I'm not interested in the 8K mode, however.

I've moved all my downloaded ps5 games to my 2tb nvme drive and removed everything from the ps5 base internal drive. It should make the transfer to a pro super easy. I just need to do a cloud upload of all my saves just to be safe.

I have done the same ready to take my PS5 to CEX. Hopefully it all just plugs and plays I will add my account and check the new Pro is working ok before I swap everything over.

Hypothetically if you were suddenly keen on getting a PS5 Pro, where would be the best place to buy it? PS Direct? Or are there some better deals/offers going on?

I’ve just seen The Finals is getting a PS5 Pro Enhanced patch which is great news.
