Anyone own the Pulse headset and attempted the 3D audio profile setup?

I recall on the OG, the profile setup was literally choosing the "height" but the Pro seems to have this sphere advanced setup which is highly odd. There are two sound types, the first a single positional beep which is mostly discernible and a wave effect. The wave effect, to my ears on occasion seems to sweep lower left to lower right or via versa but the choice is a band around the circumference so either my hearing is really borked or the profile setup is too restrictive.
Focus on the direction rather than the height. If it sounds horizontal (but low) choose the horizontal option

Enjoying the pro still had a little blast again tonight on black ops 6 not long come off got work at 7am as well :( I've put my ear to the ps5 pro tonight from some of you mentioning it's noise levels yeah she's not the quietest console, id say definitely a louder fan noise than my OG ps5 and ps5 slims were. I think the coil whine is about the same also. I also seem to have a tiny chip from factory on my bottom left plate at the front no idea how they have managed that lol

My pros fans have settled down since the first day, yesterday I was playing the same games and noticed how much more quite it was.
Could be a case of internal things settling down after initial use.

What is there to settle down though, the fan is the only moving part surely.

I'm nursing mine in slowly as well. First week only PS4 games, 2nd week PS5 games, third week Pro enhanced games.

I think this gradually warms up the transistor electrodes and reduces long term overheating, hence lower fan speeds.

Received my PS5 Pro yesterday, having traded my old 2022 OG PS5 into CeX (which was painless). My experience fwiw:
  • It isn't silent. Cannot be heard on dash like my OG PS5. However on PS5 games it seems quieter, but on PS4 games a tad louder. All very comparable though.
  • Feels cheaper. Whether it's the thinner plates, the small clear feet, or the way the thing can rock if you press it on the front-left all give the feeling of a cheaper console than the OG PS5.
  • Transfer was pretty painless although I did everything manually. So simply transferred the SN850X NVMe and WD_D30 external SSD. All recognised and didn't get the rebuilding database message. Did make me realise how many settings I'd changed though as I had to spend a few minutes re-configuring everything.
  • Tried a few games. TLOU2 Remastered was always a stunning game, even in its original PS4 version, but seeing the new PRO mode it's hard not to be blown away. Spider-Man remastered felt less of an upgrade.
  • Tried Dragon Age: Inquisition and could immediately notice the new sharpening mode for PS4 games. Even though it's subtle it can be seen, particularly on the UI and text. I think there's confusion about this feature and how it isn't effecting certain PS4 games. Imagine it works well with 2D games.
  • Also tested with the Sound Blaster GC7 where the PS5 automatically picked it up over USB and noticed the volume was at the same level as optical (how I normally run it). I need to test some more as I doubt the PS5 Pro has changed the UAC 1.x behaviour but I also remember the GC7 not being as loud over USB.
Looking forward to trying more PS5 games like HZD Remastered etc.
