I've no idea how the Portal sold so well. The entire point of a console gaming was to play games in a lounge setting on a 4k bigboy TV. Unless you have kids you need to offload to watch the rugby, what's the point!

For the past 20 years, console gaming has seen me sat at a desk in front of a 27" monitor - I could never do anything competitive (online) sitting on a couch in front of a massive TV. I used the portal for what you just described!

I'm the same way, I even tested it once with FIFA noticeably worse results when sitting back at a distance.

Just seen server maintenance for GT7 tomorrow, I guess that coincides with the update going live.

Received shipping notification from PS direct for the 30th anniversary controllers. They're coming via DHL so I'm sure they'll arrive tomorrow, which is the release date.

Okay. Dragons dogma 2 is junk. Bought the house in the first castle town - and now the guards are aggrod. And I can’t seem to clear the aggro. Game deleted, saves deleted. No time for that trash.

Same for me, for some reason I had it in my head it was the 25th of November but all shows on tracking to be delivered tomorrow.

So F1 24 has just popped up at £27.99 on the store. Had a £10 redeem code so grabbed it as the demo they showed on Eurogamer looked excellent on the Pro. £17.99 yeah I’ll take that.

Not sure if it actually is but yeah it’s a big one so presumably that’s what it is. Mine has initiated in downloads but not started yet. Excited to try it if it is what we all think it is!

GT7 is one of those games that just looked amazing anyway, it will be difficult for the naked eye to see much of a difference, I feel!
