Ooh, well impressed with how easy it was to fit the SSD into the M.2 bay. Although I did put the screws in the wrong way round!

Copying from internal to the M.2 is about 1.5Gbyte/sec

Reading that at first I thought you meant you'd put the head in before the thread . Didn't realise they had used different sizes, thought they'd make them the same.

When i was doing it was pushing the panel side more to the side than i was lifting the corner with the locking nubs so when they finally did let go the panel almost flew across the room.

For anyone struggling with battery life on the standard Dualsense and the Edge. This battery pack works for both and adds a decent amount to the battery life, the negative is that it's ugly and adds weight.

Not the PCs fault Sony/PlayStation Studios farmed out the dev to Iron Galaxy who did a similar stellar job with the Arkham Knight PC port

I've been away from the gaming scene for a while as I've just moved to an M2 MacMini after having enough of Windows. Glanced at the thread and just shook my head - nothing changes. Stuff like that is why I became sick of PC gaming over the past year and a half.

Tbf I had no issues on arkham Knight, but I wasn't daft if to get it on release . I realised long ago that pretty much every pc port is a beta when first released. Unless its designed for the pc to start with normally it's a bit poor. Exceptions seem to be the RE remakes as they seem to do quite well.
On topic am I sending the wrong message to my daughter when she said she's finished astro, and I pointed out it's not finished as you haven't got all the trophies.

Great message, important for her to realise she's got to be a starter-finisher - then she can put it on her CV when she's older and mention it all started when she had to 100% complete Astro's Playroom!

Nah, I feel sorry for them. But to me PC gaming has become a mug's game. The price/performance benefit just isn't there right now, and the last 18 months has been particularly brutal for PC ports. I don't see that changing any time soon ; developers are prioritising resources for the current gen consoles as they are the larger demographic ( vs. consumers with high-end PCs ).

As a PC gamer who just got a PS5 recently and is amazed at how well the first party games run and how good they look I empathise with them, but at the same time I am glad that I can now avoid bad console ports on PC.

Just wondering what headsets people use for their PS5, currently using an old Turtle Beach set but looking at purchasing some shiny new ones soon.

Was thinking of going for the Pulse headset as would like one that makes use of the 3D audio stuff and seem decent for the money.

Any others worth a look?

Any headset that you can plug into the controller's 3.5mm jack will have 3D audio.

I carried my Razer Thresher 7.1 over from my PS4 - has a USB dongle, so completely wireless and does 3D audio (think all headsets do tbh), other than being a bit lacking in bass, it's decent enough imo

I use the Phillips X2HR with the attachable boom mic, they sometimes pop up on offer think i paid £90. Very good quality set of cans for the money. Pulse headset is pretty poor if im honest.

Has something changed on newer ps5 models because I have heard two that were with the GOW bundle and the fans sound weird, like a UFO. Nothing like the ones I had before.
