Just wondering what headsets people use for their PS5, currently using an old Turtle Beach set but looking at purchasing some shiny new ones soon.

Was thinking of going for the Pulse headset as would like one that makes use of the 3D audio stuff and seem decent for the money.

Any others worth a look?
I use the Steelseries 7p on my PS5, wireless headset that has nice sound quality and is nice and comfortable. Also a decent mic!

I regularly forget to charge it though so end up just plugging any old headphones into the PS5 controller 3.5mm jack and just use that, works just as well.

Arctis 9x here. I did like the 3D pulse headset initially but they get too hot in the summer and the plastic on the cups started coming off after about a year. The Steelseries sets are very nice and much more comfortable on the ears. Great sound I don’t use the mic so can’t say.

I use the Arctic 7P+. Great headset with top battery life. Unfortunately the dongle is a WIDE boy and uses the USB-C port on the front of the console, in doing so it partially blocks the USB A port next to it. Otherwise I have nothing negative to say really! I haven't used the mic though so can't comment.

It should have come with a USB cable in the box which lets you connect it to one of the rear ports. Great headset though, much more comfortable than the Pulse3D and better battery life too.

Hmm time to hunt down the box...though when I tried the rear ports a while back with a different cable it didn't work. I'll hunt down the box in a bit and report back. It would be great if I could use the front port for charging my controller again.

Has something changed on newer ps5 models because I have heard two that were with the GOW bundle and the fans sound weird, like a UFO. Nothing like the ones I had before.

Got one of those myself, nothing out of the ordinary here. If anything it's quieter than the original launch model I had last year.

I did some googling and it seems it's a common complaint and the common factor is the models with a Nidec fan. It is different fan design to the one I had on my launch model.

Vinted has come good for me again, I have just ordered a used copy of Hogwarts Legacy for £35 on ps5. I could have had the xbox version for £32 but it's meant to run slightly better on ps5 and the haptic implementation is meant to be pretty good.

I'm not a massive Harry Potter fan but the game looks decent so I'm looking forward to playing it.

Think my new model has the noiser fan tbh, I don't really care that much about it at least its cooling and working. It does dim down the noise of the coil whine! Take your pick really either quieter fan more coil whine noise or louder fan less coil whine noise :)

Yeah, it runs a bit better on PS5 than Series X. If you have a HDMI 2.1 compatible display with VRR I'd recommend playing in the 40 fps balanced mode. The game doesn't take advantage of the dual shock 5 haptics that much, but you do get an extra side quest which is a timed exclusive for the PS5 and is arguably one of the best pieces of content in the game.

Will probably end up getting Jedi Survivor for PS5, but will wait to see where it runs best. The controller will probably win me over. Burning shores to finish first though.

Sackboy is free with PS Plus this month so I played a bit of that last night, fun little game. I still think PlayStation are missing a trick not releasing a full Astros game to follow the free one we got with the PS5 at launch.

Struggling to get properly back into Horizon Forbidden West, graphically it looks incredible but the story just isn't exciting me as much as the first game did.

No, it definitely lacks something. Still has its moments though and it’s absolutely stunning visually.

I’m noticing more and more deals popping up for the ps5 lately. I’m thinking about buying another and the deals keep getting better and better. Console and 3 games for £499 was advertised earlier which seems really decent. Trouble is, I’d really prefer a slim console… my thinking is that the more deals we see now, the more likely a new model is just around the corner.

Just wanted to say cheers! It worked a treat and I can charge from my free front port again!

I’ve been playing Tails of Iron, quite basic but it’s pretty enjoyable and has the voice actor of The Witcher as the narrator :)

I think the problem is the first one had this mystery of what happened, and the 2nd one feels a bit of a miss mash (and the ending feels a bit cheap imo). I'm intreged by the expansion/ sequel coming out though as apparently its got a horus in it that's moving.
