Yeah you are correct that is another feature that is missing.. I guess this is what happens when games are built for previous gen and current gen at the same time which causes the limitations.. :(

Decent month for free games - Chivalry 2 is quite a laugh with mates, and Grid is pretty awesome; even moreso, now I've unlocked classic Touring Cars (feels like an old TOCA game now)

Considering I only play GT7, is it a good alternative?
Bit gimmicky at times, the rival/enemy system is a bit pants - they can punt you with impunity it seems; but you hitting them does nothing - bit like hitting a tank!

It's a bit more akin to Forza, with a slice of Forza Horizon too - lots of fireworks etc.... but the tracks look decent; best representation of Brands I've ever seen imo!

It doesn't seem to have a 'free mode' (that I've found) - so you can't pick a track and car to have a bit of fun; but it has a story mode and a bunch of career things like GT7 - the former had me skipping all the videos as I just wanted to race.

Overall I like it - the way you play the races exposes you to a lot of variety, which makes a nice change.

Agreed as above its more Forza Horizon and quite arcadey which I don’t mind actually as GT7 is very intense. Played through the first 8 or so missions and yeah I like it once I got over the non-simness of it all. Take your brain out racing. One thing I learnt is that if you use cockpit view change the fov up from its default 75 as it’s too close. I set it to 90 but will go higher when I play it again. Mindless fun. Shame there is no controller feedback on ps5.

You get a bit of force through the triggers - though it's only at the very bottom of the push, and only ususally when hitting ABS or losing traction.

Yeah I did feel something a couple of times under breaking maybe a slide? Not sure. The FF in GT7 is so refined and strong I can barely feel it in this.

Just a heads up...

The PS5 PS Plus Collection ends on 9th May
So if you have a PS5 and PS+ Essential or above, make sure to add the 19 games on there so you can continue playing after the collection gets removed.

Yup, added everything a while ago, good shout. Some pretty good games in there so add them while you can guys.

I tried Second Son a while back and was surprised how well it held up.

Did Sony sort out the purchasing palaver with PS+ titles now? i.e. if you got a game on PS+ you couldn't buy it again? So if I added Days Gone to my PS+ library, will it still let you buy the Deluxe Edition if I so desire?

I think so yes. I see other editions of games I already own available for me to buy.

Thanks, why can’t they just add most of them games into the main game’s catalogue.
I can understand removing the collection now as having various catalogues can make it a bit confusing, but see no reason why they don’t just transfer them across.

Just hope it doesn't go the way of the HD dvd drive of the 360. Without disc games, there's no incentive to not change 70 quid all the time on the store. I use my drive a fair bit and its also my dvd/bluray player anyway.
Exactly why I got the disc one, cheaper games. And it's my only 4k Blu-ray player.

I think they were initially given as an incentive to get people buying PS5s them subbing to PS+. Not all of those are first party so any deals done are maybe coming to an end. No reason why the Sony ones can’t just move over though agreed.

I tend to sub in and out of PSN, Live etc. Currently subbed so can download them but can these still be played if I cancel my service laster down the track? Or do they need an active sub to be played?

Descenders on there too. Been wanting to try that for ages, looks like a hoot online.
This is not what I thought it was. It's rubbish, don't waste your time. Most bikes you can have in a game is 4 and it takes ages to get into a lobby and get a game started.
I thought you could have like 30 bikes racing downhill at once. Am I thinking of something else?

They’ll be locked when your PS+ runs out but you’ll be able to play in the future if you resubscribe.
