The Official Prometheus (Alien Prequel) Thread

June 2nd? That's quick! I have a wedding do on the 3rd (Sunday) so I think I might have to juggle my schedule around and see what the Odeon IMAX has available and get some peeps to get their groove on and do the same!

This is definitely an IMAX viewing.
 
I love the hype surrounding Prometheus, it's not in your face every minute of every day, they're just building up a believable world to step into when you watch the movie :)
 
I've got my tickets booked.

BFI Imax on the day after release, almost perfect seats and am very very excited!
 
IMAX Greenwich is where we'll likely be seeing it as a bunch of us are going, 30th June is the date though! Can't book it yet as it's too early!
 
Saw the new trailer on ch4, god this film will be epic i can't wait.

Might not bother with 3d mind.
 
They are offering only 3D tickets for now in Finland as well. Looks like a movie of the year contender but no thanks, I'll rather actually SEE it from Bluray than watch a relatively dark movie with more darkness attached to it due to terrible 3D glasses/technology we have here (and they actually ask MORE money for showing you LESS movie, a great scam that is).
 
Normal 3D glasses don't make the movie darker. What the heck kind of cinemas do you have over there?
