I was considering motorstorm then i read it has a massive total of only 8 tracks, No mirror tracks or anything just 8 bloody tracks. :(

And no same-room multiplayer! You can only play via the Internet. Crapola!

Aye I think it has potential, I really like the home thing that looks fun.

Even my wife was impressed by the motorstorm demo!

I really wish I could get the games on the ps stores though I really want the flow game.

I thought the Motorstorm tracks were randomized? Or is that just online?
They are, but as you said it is only online, single player you just have 8 tracks, although they are long and there are several routes to take.

I have just read on some ps3 forum that to get blu rays to play in 720p you have to set your console to 1080i or soemthing like that. If you don;t it will playback at 480P

Can anyone confirm this? My TV is only 720p, not 1080i, so does that mean the discs will only play at 480p?

Am I the only one who thinks Home is a total waste of a programmers time?

:S

Seems good for playing arcade games like pool, bowling, but i would rather boot up the game and go through the in game menus, and sod talking to americans its bad enough in games on live.

that home thiong looks dam impressive IMO

Agreed, up until last week I would have said PS3 did'nt stand a chance but Home has really turned it around for me, I think it's got great potential, Home actually gives me a incentive to switch on the console and start interacting with people and hook up and make new friends and on top of that it's free, plus if I'm bored I can surf the net, even more bored then I can boot up linux, even more bored ? then I can stick in a Blu-Ray disk and watch A hi-definition movie, oh I forgot, it can play games too, man this machine is crazzzzzzyyyyyyyy  :p have to say my attitude towards the PS3 has really changed as of late.

It sounds just like a PC to me.
Until I see some more "must have" titles released and a controller revamp to include rumble then I have no desire for a PS3. Titles are however on the way though and when the rumble is brought back I could see myself wanting one.
I don't really see Home being a big thing for me, as has been said, it should prove massive for the early to mid teens category but for older folks, nah...

Go into video setting and from there pick the video display. you should be able to pick both 480 and 720 but not 1080 (if your tv dont support it) or just put it on auto detect.
