Here is 3.6Ghz @ 1.5V with water.

Dont have a moan about voltage, temp or anything to me 'cos I am severely ****** off becaue I have no sound. And im not doing any more until I get sound back.

Get your sound back then do some orthos full load tests please :)

well its acutally 1.58V.

My watercooling is awesome. No idea what load temps are but they wont be much higher than the idle temp.

3.8ghz with x8 multi

Q6600G03.8Ghzwaterx8.jpg

Need full quad load temps on all four cores.

Don't want to be a kill joy but showing booted screenies at 3.8ghz without load analysis is not giving us much to go on.

Also I want stress testing done.

Stabilty shots showing prime running etc...

Need to know wether these G0's run cooler than B3 under load.

Idle temps mean nothing

I think you will find load temps to be significantly different than idle.

Fingers crossed they are not though :)

Q6600 G0 @ 4ghz with 1.7V
Abit IP-35 Pro
2gb Corsair PC2-5400 RAM

13.891 seconds

Still showing idle temps I see..

More interested in stabilty shots tbh than epeen boot ups :o

This is not XS you know.

whats the highest stable?

3.6ghz?

lol you should start policing the XS boards, it bores me totally pooooless on there, chernobyl is more stable than XS screenshots.

lol

Look at me I'm at 4ghz but unfortuately I can't actually use my pc! :o :D

( this is not intended for Azza btw)

Ill get stable and all that **** done when I want to. Im not going to be runnig prime for 8 hours 'cos Ive got better things to do with my PC.

Pretty please with a cherry on top... :D

Can't you do a 3.6ghz run overnight.

Thats ideally what I want 24/7 just interested in the temps under full load. :o

This is overclockers, who says it has to be stable to be posted here?

Me :o

Just kidding...

Its nice to see some Quad G0 action.

But I'm just one for stabilty clocks.

TBH its not hard to throw 1.7v into a chip and boot it.

But in all essence what does it actually mean?

The hard part is getting a nice stable clock with nice ram timings and speeds to match.

but I like to see how far I can push stuff before I settle on a 24/7 overclock. 12 sec Pi-runs and 3dmark are much better to run than prime in the short term :D

If you wanna max out your hardware get phase as water clearly has its limitations.

the G0 I have in my possession seems to be very impressive.

The cores are cooler when all 4 are priming than my early E6700 was when only 2 cores were going.

Thats on a water loop with just the cpu in on a 120.1

been going 2 hours now and max temp is 57.

also managed to get 800mhz out of it with no increase in vcore.

Nice to hear.

These quads will certainly see us all through until penryn :)

My G0 Q6600 L720B013 struggles to break 2.9Ghz. My system is in sig, I could get my old E6600 to 3.3ghz.

I think I need to turn off speedstep, hyperpath 3 and boost volts a little.

Your P5W DH is more than likely limiting your overclock with quad.

As in room temps? Well, you know how the weather in the UK varies..Wasn't asking for an exact amount, just a rough idea.

I'm sorry my 'quaestion' was too noob for you!!

Case temp
Ambient temp
what gfx card you run
vcore

there are to many factors to predict such a thing.

Best way is to just clock it and find out
