1 Minute Prime stable!

Thats the second ever shortest prime run I've seen, the shortest being grumpyriders 19 second prime stability shot of his E2160!

That actually made me chuckle this morning in the office

We all know that was a "steping stone shot" as I intended, and did go higher than 3.1ghz!

No point priming at "mid range" speeds.

I prime when I think I have found the max stable overclock.

Using Swiftech watercooling with cpu only in loop.
1 x YL 120mm fan in side of case blowing over chipset and video card.

Re. the temps.....there have been numerous debates on whether the current toolset is accurately reading the temps. from G0 processors, so i can only show you what the toolsets show.

I'm happy with this cpu and its performance anyhow.

My quad G0 comes on thursday and will be chuffed with quad 3.8ghz.

I have the same cooling setup as you.Just Cpu in the loop.

I'm not sticking my 8GB RAM on 2.25v for 6+ hours of prime, it's too risky. But i have some cheap OZC RAM and i'll prime it using that over night.

I honestly think i could get 4GHz stable if i had some quality fast RAM.

yeah mate

just installed it and running it at stock to check I have the water block on nicely.

35c full load using coretemp running prime on all four cores.

will start clocking shortly.

I had it looping 3D mark 06 over night, done rendering work and played Bioshock all at 3.8GHz. To me it's stable, because it does everything i want with no problems. But i'll prime it over night just to shut you lot up

Gigabyte , Asus or Abit?

Ip-35 pro looks good but its very expensive, Anything wrong with a p5k or a Ds3P?

I went through 4 motherboards on my 939 setup in 2 years, bloody ridiculous tbh.

I really want something uber stable,

How far do you think this setup will go?

stable here so far at 3.6ghz 1.45v (will tweak this later) temps full load using core temp are nice at 55c small fft prime


This chip is running so much cooler than my QX6700 that would hit 75c @ 3.6ghz with the same water setup.

Just got mine today guys, G0 stepping

An hour ago whacked it on to 400x8 at stock volts, on an Asus Blitz Formula, played some bioshock and stalker, seems ok so far, will run prime overnight though

But chances of it being stable on stock volts at 3.2?

Try it and see.

Is that set in bios, uguru or actual? There's a hell of a droop+drop on that board.

1.5v in bios and I think its about 1.45 actual


why can't I get Uguru to work?

It wont launch after I have installed it.
