Shouldn't it be Core 0+1 and Core 2+3 with matching temps? (If you get what i mean :p)

got mine to be half stable at 4.05ghz :D

but it gets hot with the crappy heatsink ive got so with water i think this will do 3.6-8 easy

its windows stable and super pi stable with 1.5v

prime fails after about 5 mins, cus it gets HOT.

Can we keep on track please?

Im trying to get this chip 3.8ghz stable but my bios is playing tricks with me.

Its fine to post any clocks but don't anyone claim its prime stable without a screen shot..

Thants just rude!

Not sure why waynes moaning though...He doesn't even have one !

BTW love the way a few people have been saying to me "easy 3.8ghz will be easy and I'll pass prime etc..."

Well for everyone's information 3.8ghz is not as easy as that.

All my cores are fine bar one and ironing this out is tricky.

I will have to agree, if you havnt got the golden chip, 3.8 takes a lot of time, skill and thinking to get it stable, plus the task of getting round all the little qurks your new motherboard has.

It's a shame the same people wanna trash, what started off as a very good thread.

If I was going to buy a secondhand Quad core from MM, and someone stated that it would do 3.6, 3.7, 3.8 etc, the first thing I would ask, as many do, any prime screenies?

Unless it was 8hrs + stable, I would refuse to buy it, and I'm 100% sure the people trashing this thread would do the same.

Well, this thread was bloody helpful in working out 24/7 stable clocks!

About 5% of the posts were actually useful.

Im interested in 24/7 max clocks, I couldn't give a monkies about the chips max because its totally totally pointless!

Anyone going to start a Quad Max Clocks thread or shall I?

CR...

Yeah a thread with settings etc rather than screenshots of prime would be great...would be nice with little table of people's clocks and their settings (Vcore, memclk etc etc)

Well here's my super pi @ 3.5ghz.:)

woops wrong thread!.:)

3.5ghz 1.45v in bios...8hr+prime small FFT's ( round error enabled ) board Giga DS4 P965...Air TRU120A non EX.

8hrs.jpg

8 hours prime stable at 9 x 380 (3420), now the Tuniq Tower 120 has bedded in I'm really pleased with my temps, I could probably up the Vcore some more but I'm pretty happy with what I've got and it's quiet and stable.
