How much voltage on the VCore...? Did you just hook up one of these to your quad?:-

No offence, but you normally make a point of ensuring that claimed overclocks are 8 hours prime/orthos stable, that's all

Of course and thats exactly why I was mad for w3bbo.

Coz I was in bed and the PC reset. I doubt staring at prime all night would have helped

It'll probably be fine if I used 9x445 but 8x500 gets away from using any dodgy dividers.

The 4core monitor is available from microsofts gadgets iirc (although its a third party gadget).

Its weird that Ai suite is showing the same temps as the cores, the cores are normally 15-20 deg hotter. With that Vcore, do you not think there may be a chance it may be reading the core temps incorrectly ?

Unless 64bit vista somehow conflicts with how they are read with 32bit vista. I compared coretemp and everest in 32bit to see what difference there was and they both read exactly the same core for core. For whatever reason coretemp wont work in 64bit for me even with driver signing disabled(F8). I'm usually the first to say that asus (pcprobe) is way off but it seems to be calibrated better on this blitz motherboard than previous asus boards I have owned.

Though, your temps are nearly the same as your 3.8Ghz run, and with an extra 0.1 vcore.

The 15c +/- 3c difference between Tcase and Tjunction doesn't appear to be applicable to M0 and G0 steppings. It's more like 5c and +/- 5c. Also w3bbo's observation of the Blitz is same as I've seen in various Blitz screenshots it's as if it's reading directly from the cores as I've seen many a screenshot which is very close to the core temps.
