Well, hopefully i wil have one of these soon so I can join the party
Aye it'll do it eventually, its just a pita going for so long then reseting. Weird that everytime it does fail it resets rather than failing. Its done this no matter what clockspeed I run at, always resets, never fails. Anyone else noticed this with vista64?
you must have one of the best batches of Q6600 only 1.35 required for 3.2Ghz!
Bioshock, Medal of Honuor Airborne are very smooth. but STALKER gets a bit of stutter here and there which is expected since it doesn't use all 4 cores. but i can't get World in Conflict to work smoothly with everything maxed out i had to turn off soft shadow, AA, a few water reflection options and lower resolution to 1280x800 to have above minimum of 15 for in-game benchmark
Afaik, its a common problem with quads, the os craps out before the stress testing app in 90% of cases.Aye it'll do it eventually, its just a pita going for so long then reseting. 1kw Silverstone so I doubt thats the problem lol.
I could run it on xp I guess but whats the point when vista is my main OS these days. I'll give it another run tonight with a couple of tweaked settings, see how far it gets me. Damn PC's
I'm at 3.6 now. 1.376 Volts under load. 1.5125 volts set in bios. 60 degrees under load. I will try and get it 8hr stable, not bad for near-silent air cooling
Weird problemGot myself a Q6600 L726B, but im having the same reversed speedstep problem I had with the ES sample I had
