Also to top it all off Australia will win the tight 5 battle and at least once will push us off our own ball and finish the game with most Scrum penalties. They are a much stronger pack than have been in the past.

With regard to the JP Pieterson tackle I think slow motion makes it look worse than it was in real time the put down is quite gentle and JP was clearly trying to recover a mistake/bad decision. A yellow would have been justifiable but I thought a penalty was appropriate. Nigel Owens shines again as the most sensible ref in World rugby.

It's funny the things you notice, when Youngs was tackled and there was no scrum half , England forwards rucked out beautifully but no one picked and went they all looked at the ball and waited for a back. Why is it only Mako and Easter can pick and go in this squad. It is such a dangerous tool from fast ball when its on.
