Well done

Mike Brown; Anthony Watson, Jonathan Joseph, Brad Barritt, Jonny May; Owen Farrell, Ben Youngs; Joe Marler, Tom Youngs, Dan Cole, Joe Launchbury, Geoff Parling, Tom Wood, Chris Robshaw, Ben Morgan, Rob Webber, Mako Vunipola, Kieran Brookes, George Kruis, Nick Easter, Richard Wigglesworth, George Ford, Sam Burgess.

The worst English Rugby team in history, and believe me I've seen some real stinkers in my time.

From a Welsh perspective, I'm relieved this Australian win puts us through because I am dreading us playing against this team next week.

We can take them. Someone get round Gareth Edwards house with a new pair of shorts. We'll need it :D

England played well for 50 minutes and then it seemed to implode.

For me Poite didn't get much wrong, he was fairly even handed at scrum time and gave us the benefit of the doubt on more than one occasion, he was also extremely lenient on us at the ruck letting us hang on to ball when the Aussies had blatantly won the contact.

Well done Australia, please go all the way. You're a great side with a great coach and you've completed your game by learning how to scrummage, good on ya cobber!

I agree about the ruck. England were treated leniently. I know he couldn't ref England, but Wayne Barnes would have pinged Englland out of the game at the brekadown. I thought the Fiji ref gave the player on the ground a lot of time but Poite gave them ages.

Just seen a few scrum replays, in the first 2 tighthead is boring and the scrum crabs, penalty against the loosey??? Loosey hinges so his head is against the ground and the tighty collapses, penalty against the tighty?? The scrum is becoming a huge risk, I thought it was crap when they smashing each other then immediately collapsing but nights like tonigth aren't much better.

The first response was just a penalty, then the ref is asking like "Are you sure it's not a yellow"

I couldn't play this game.

I think it was the other way round as it was the TMO asking him to take another look at it - effectively saying to the referee that he thought it was more than just a penalty which seemed to be what the referee initially wanted to give. It's one you could argue either way, in this World Cup people have been carded for similar tackles and let off for others which looked the same.

Well done to Australia, a more dominant performance than expected and I thought it would be a whole lot closer. I hope England going out doesn't negatively affect the tournament too much or mean that the coverage from now on focuses just on that fact and forgets about the rest of the tournament.
