Ok... i'll back that up ..... In Pool matches that England were not even involved in , all you could hear was "sweet low" .

I'm sorry but that was completely out of order

It's a World Cup in England with the predominant attending crowd being English and just enjoying themselves, particularly in support of the underdog. If a song bothers you then you obviously have a particularly large version of that Welsh chip that seems to weigh so heavily on many of your compatriots shoulders

What in a World cup hosted in...England? There might be English fans? You really are pathetic.

Whats actually out of order is Wales getting to play games at the Millenium Stadium. They should not have home advantage in a World Cup they are not hosting.

Do your research before spouting crap .. England had venues in Wales 1999 tournament... The semis were in Twickers

You want to use our stadium (voted one of, if not the best, rugby stadiums in the world)? Gotta give us something in return...

All the Welsh are the same and think they are owed something in the world.

No we don't... I can see why some people dish out "banter" though. Many English friends will only contact me when England beat Wales in the Rugby (won't have heard from them for ages... or even follow rugby). I'm not too fussed... Welsh rugby has some high points and some low points... I'm not contacting them all now dishing out banter etc...

I rather enjoyed watching the English getting humiliated this evening, out of their own tournament before the knock out stages, legendary.

Still the good news for English fans is that England should finish 3rd and automatically qualify for the WC in 2019 :)

Comisserations to England Rugby supporters tonight.

Me being an Aussie I was happy to see the Wallabies dominate but being a huge Bath supporter I was sad to see the host nation bow out. I'm hoping English rugby can weather this storm. You guys have a talented bunch of players and I'm pretty sure Japan will be better.

As an Englishman, while I enjoy the home nations banter I do still support northern hemisphere Rugby as we are most certainly the underdogs... I genuinely want Wales or Ireland to go on and lift the trophy. I would hope the same would be true if the boot were on the other foot but I'm not so sure it would....

Shame about England. Quite a strong and convincing performance by the Aussies though.

Genuine question - why do Scots and Welsh not support England? It's weird as I have friends from both camps and some of them always support the team going against England. Whereas myself and the majority of my friends will support which ever team of the UK and/or northern hemisphere if the former isn't applicable.

A Scottish person at work refuses to give England any support which I find strange.

Well, this is awkward.
